The bill on reproductive health and assisted medical fertilization has not been able to be voted in the Kosovo Assembly due to quorum, while being postponed for another session.
Parasely, for an amendment proposed by VV deputy Visar Kornica, it did not become a quorum. Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca said the quorum são became “because a deliberate majority deputy is not voting to fail to process the bill”.
VV deputy Wisar Korenica has said the law as such is problematic. He has demanded that the reproductive right be known only to the couple, not the individual.
The “Amandanaments we have proposed are a part of the LVV group deputies, ten. This law has produced a broad debate and is problematic if it goes through the way it is. Because the family institution is directly violated. We seek with this fourth amendment that the reproductive right to meet the couple to decide whether to have children. Not to give the individual the right but to determine the right in couples”, Corenica said.
