3 People Arrested in Tirana Suspected of Counterfeiting Official Documents

State police in Albania have successfully finalised the operation, codenamed “Generalies”, hitting a suspected group dealing with the counterfeiting of documents against the amounts ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 euros.
The operation was conducted by the Department for Investigation of Economic-Finance Crimes, in co-operation with the Tirana Prosecution, following an organised investigation into the documentation of the criminal activity of several people suspected of being organised for counterfeiting documents broadcast Klankosova.tv.
According to police reports, three people have been arrested, H.M., 53, .M., 24, as well as E.V., 37.
According to authorities, their father and son had made available their residence in the village of Louschll in Durres, which had been adapted as a laboratory for producing and forging various documents.
During the search at the facilities used for the event, investigators seized 46 suspected forged documents, including diplomas, school documents, certificates, judicial confirmations and application documents for various institutions.
