Customs reveals two cases of drugs in Vmica

Kosovo Customs officials, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, have uncovered two cases of narcotics substances during vehicle controls in Vremica.
It becomes known that in the first case, during a detailed search at the second line of control of a vehicle entering the Republic of Kosovo, 104.90 grams of suspected cocaine substance, hidden in a traveler's personal bag, has been found.
“Substance was initially confirmed through field test and TruNarc equipment, with positive results for cocaine. After full control and vehicle scanning, no other irregularities have been found. The case has been processed to competent units for further investigation”, Kosovo Customs reports.
In the second case, during another detailed search of a vehicle at the same border point, customs officials have discovered 5.53 grams of narcotics suspected of cannabis/marihuas, hidden in vehicle luggage space.
“An undeclared kitchen knife has also been found during the search. The case has been addressed in co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the responsible investigative bodies”./ Periscope.
