Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with Minister of Industry, Intervention and Trade Roseta Hajdari and Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi had hosted the “Lidl” delegation, which was expected to invest in Kosovo.
Minister Hajdari had said that, from the company “Lidl”, they have pledged to invest in Kosovo.
“> With the company's delegation “Lidl” we were commended with the pledge that will invest and develop their business in Kosovo, while concluding that Kosovo has a lot of competitive investment potential and, among other things, is the country with the best tax system in the world”, Hajdari had said.
She had said that with the delegation of “Lidl” they have visited three strategic locations suitable for the next centre in Kosovo.
Periscop has asked for an answer from the Ministry of Commerce Information Office to find out whether a location has been set up for this model network or whether the German company regrets it. But, the ministry has not returned the response so far.
The company's “delegation in question also visited three strategic locations proposed by KIESA colleagues, suitable for the future logistical centre of the company “Lil” in the Republic of Kosovo, following their conversation with producers and food and drink processing, good potential for supply for the company “Lul” and global exports<5>, said Minister Hajdari.
