Pristina primary school technical workers return to strike from June 22nd

primary school technical workers in Pristina will continue the suspended strike starting on 22 June 2026.
The decision was made today, on June 19th 2026, at a meeting held between the head of the FSPSSPK and representatives of the capital's primary school technical workers, where their current situation has been considered, it is said in media communities.
According to the announcement, the return to the strike comes as workers have not yet received salaries for May and continue to be without work contracts.
Workers' representatives estimate that the situation has been created as a result of the municipality's failure to keep financial obligations to the responsible company, which, according to them, has been unable to meet the company's obligations to workers.
They seek immediate resolution of the salary issue and the regulation of their contracting status, while warning that the strike will continue until addressing their demands. / KP
