Pristina Chairman Progress Rama has spoken about his co-operation with the central level, saying there is a reluctance by the ministers of the Kurti Government to co-operate in projects for the capital.
Rama even said that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has rejected him as part of the jury for selecting the winner of the project for building the Opera and Ballet Theatre, thus excluding him completely from the process.
“Platforma Arberi with Youth Pallats, since a year ago we have agreed with the Ministry of Culture to be the point, or the part where ballet and opera will become and zero will be taken up by the Palace of Youth to connect the Palace of Youth along with Arbury, so there are already three proposals for the project and have had to be selected and continue the work”.
I've been asked to be part of the jury of this project where the ministry has initiated this international competition, unfortunately I haven't been invited, I've absolutely been excluded from the process, I absolutely don't understand, I'm an architect, I'm an urbanist, my global experience in international competitions is great, I've fulfilled all the conditions and I've been asking, but I'm not invited to be part of the competition, I've asked why it's a groundless reason that I don't understand”, Rama said in Rubikon of Kosovo.
Pristina's first said there is co-operation with Infrastructure Minister Libun Aliu.
Two years ago I was super pro-active, I offered real co-operation in every sphere to all ministries, the government in total in every sphere, I called for real co-operation and to push things forward, I had real co-operation with the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as with the Ministry of Culture, but things have changed”, Rama said.
