Minister of Finance, Labour and Transfers Iron Murati met today with the chairman of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo, Father and Hycol.
At this meeting, according to the communiqué that BSPK is said to have discussed subsidies of a $100m salary to all employees in the public sector for the time until the adoption of the Law of Salaries.
“Focused on resolving the union requirements in terms of completing the draft of the Peace Bill, with completion-changing the State-financed Pension Scheme Law, and launching the implementation of the Health Security Law, and particularly stopped in finding the right way to meet the 100m-high wage subsidy requirement for all employees in the public sector by the adoption of the Republic Law”, it is said in the statement.
The BSPK is awaiting an appropriate decision in terms of the requirement for the adoption of a 100-euro extension to all employees in the public sector for the time until the adoption of the Law of Salaries.
BSPK Chairman, Mr. Hycoli, I informed FPT's minister, Mr. Murati, that the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo expects the government's appropriate action since the August 10th 2022 meeting of BSPK Executive Chiefs, where appropriate decisions for further union actions are expected to try to find the right way to resolve and adopt the preset requirements, and especially the demand for 100m high-level wage subsidisation for all employees in the public sector until the adoption of the Communists' Law is said to be reported in the statement.
