Pristina, Tirana, Skopje Albanological Institutes deepen co-operation

In honor of Albanology Week, the Albanological Institute in Pristina visited two special guests.

To witness the transformation of the Albanological Institutes of Pristina, Tirana and Skopje into one, besides director Hysen Matoshi in front of the conference, representatives from Tirana, Walter Memishaj and him from Skopje, Skender Asani.

This union preceded a memorandum of co-operation signed in November last year.

“From last year we have a corresponding co-operation, on the basis of a trilateral agreement between the Albanological Institute, the Academy of Albanological Studies in Tirana and the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Albanians in Macedonia, and we have drafted an annual programme of joint works that we will organise during this year”, Hysen Matosi, director of the Albanological Institute, said.

Skender Asan from the Institute of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of the Albanians of Northern Macedonia has said this union will influence the outbreak of Albanian truths in the international arena.

This co-operation will peak just to get together on the world market, and to blow up the historical, linguistic truth of the Albanian people, because it is well known from the past, but even now there is extraordinary investment in the people around us to disable our '%s' ”, said Skender Asan, director of ITSHSHSH.

The vice-rector of Tirana's Albanology Studies Academy, Walter Memishaj, has said there will be a joint meeting at the three Albanian leading centres.

But besides joining the Institutes, Memishaj also has a special request.

The opening of fairs in the rotation concept, one day or a few days in Tirana then in Pristina and then in Skopje introduces this book then brings the users closer not only to science but also to ordinary citizens. It's time to have a nationwide university, it's time we have to have non-Kosovo elite high schools or Albania or northern Macedonia or Montenegro, but we have to have nationwide schools”, said Walter Memishaj, ASA Tirana.

Of these three institutions were announced that there will be joint meetings in November, which will be realised in Pristina, Tirana and Skopje, which will reinforce co-operation between the three Albanological Institutes.

During this week many Albanian language scholars will be able to present their works.

Meanwhile, the director of the Albanological Institute, the following year, has seen it as successful in printing and work done by the institute.

13th edition of Albanology Week, Albanologists' work presented

The 13th edition of Albanology Week has begun on Monday (June 6th).

During this week many Albanian language scholars will be able to present their works.

Writers and researchers of language, literature and Albanian customs from all Albanian trains came together at the Institute of Albanology in Pristina.

The reason for this meeting and conference held within the scope of this institution became the start of Albanology week.

The head of the Language Branch of the Institute, Naim Berisha, says the event is divided into 5 sections.

This is the main activity of albanology, annual, now traditional activity, this is the 13th edition this year in 2022... This year's conference conducts the work at 5 sessions a day apart. In addition to the solemn session, the language session is being held today, the subject has been dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the magazine “Gjuha Shqip” - a Jubilar year for this magazine - then tomorrow we have the literature branch, the branch of history, and so on” - said Naim Berisha, chief of the Language Branch.

Meanwhile, Albanological Institute director Hysen Matoshi has said that this week, albanologists will be able to present their works.
