Kosovo is listed among the countries that have not yet received any doses of the anti-Convidian vaccine. In a list published by the BBC, it is located among European countries that have not been equipped with vaccines, leaving behind at least 48 other states in the European region that have already started the vaccine.
Although the incumbent government has repeatedly said that Kosovo will provide vaccines in February of this year, this has not happened. Last week, the Health Ministry has even admitted that there is no agreement with Pfizer, which it claimed had. COVAX has announced that the distribution of vaccines through this programme will take place at the February-May interval, while incumbent Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has declared that the first doses of this vaccine will come in March.
Other European countries that haven't started the vaccine are: Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Northern Macedonia and the Vatican.
More than 300 million doses of the coronary vaccine have been distributed to more than 100 countries worldwide.
However, there is a great difference in the distribution of the vaccine in some parts of the world.
Some countries have provided and distributed large doses of the vaccine in proportion to its population, but others are still not expected to reach them.
