Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj will meet tomorrow evening with US Ambassador to Pristina Philip Costet to discuss the United States' request to lift the 100% tax on Serbian goods. This meeting was called by Wessel. Meanwhile, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said that current developments and some of the actions of state institutions are being conveyed with concern by the American government.
This situation is pathetic. Therefore, now is the time to respect the friendly American councils, aimed at empowering the state of Kosovo and withestimating the region. The personal interests of no state leader dare to hurt our state and strategic US interest in Kosovo and beyond. Populist actions dare not violate Kosovo's vision and strategic decisions. The U.S.'s speech of this sacred alliance represents the beginning of the violations of our state”, he said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said he welcomes the meeting, which will be held between him tomorrow, the chairman of the Parliament and the ambassador of America to Kosovo, though he has not provided details about what will be discussed.
How nice of you to say tomorrow, that we have to be seen again by tomorrow. We're not interrogating the messages, but we still have a chance today, please. I welcome the meeting, something good, is Wessel's proposal welcomes this meeting”, he said.
Asked whether he would first remove the tax, or tear down the government, Haradinaj said the “ka would melt the snow once”.
He made these comments during the festivities he made at the tomb of former President Ibrahim Rugova on the anniversary of his death.
