Pasinyan came to the prime minister's office after more than two decades of opposition engagement in street protests and led him several times to prison. In recent protests that had paralysed the country's capital, Yerevan, Pasinyan had declared that Russia was helping Prime Minister Sargsyan to stave off “his peaceful revolution”.
He has suggested that he is interested in building a new foreign policy where our country can benefit.
Prime Minister and former President Serge Sargsyan, since March 12th 2008, had warned a possible recognition but appears to have been hampered by Russian strong influence in that country. /Periscopi
