The European Union National Convention (NCEU) has reacted to Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.
A day earlier, Bislimi criticised the EU's emissar for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, for saying his unjust role in dialogue, since he has not clarified at all that a meeting held the previous day, was about NCEU in Serbia.
In this regard, NCEU stressed in response that labelling civil society organisations from Bislim is against the spirit of dialogue, against European values and democratic principles.
“Therefore, we consider that his behaviour should be condemned by the Government of Kosovo, the European Union and the member states of Quinti”.
The European Union's National Convention is a network of civil society organisations that is independent of its work and does not represent the views of any state body, bilateral or international organisation”.
The working group for Chapter 35 is actively working to monitor, improve and promote the process of normalisation dialogue, as well as reconciliation between the Albanian and Serb communities. We do not view dialogue as a rivalry between the two hostile sides, but as a process that should enable lasting peace, a better life for all people indiscriminately of nationality or ethnicity, as well as prosperity for the entire region. The Work Group work is open to the public, and our results benefit all participants in the dialogue, including Mr. Bislimi”, said in response.
