Katerina Demiri, though politically prominent, is one of the KMM's board proposals, posts on its social networks confirm the fact that she is a member of List Guxo. This has not prevented the Government from sending its name to the Kosovo Assembly, says Democracy.com.
Along with her name, the Government sends four more.
In the decision that Democracy has seen.com, it's Habib Bashalli, Nasuf Medici, Bahri Karaca, Avdi Hasan Preten's doctor.
Hasan Preteni for several years in the past has been director of the Anti-Corruption Agency. In 2017, he was on a list along with Mimoza Kusari-Lila, a candidate for deputy from the Alternative. On February 8th of this year, he was named General Adviser, Secretary of the US Trepca Corporation.
He has often backed President Vjosa Osmani in his public statements.
Last month, Trepca Mine Director Bahri Karaca has been fired from the director's position. This sacking of Karacha engineer appears to have followed the scandal of sulfuric acid leaks and the injury of 13 miners. Karaca is now proposed for KMM.
The government in its reasoning has written that it has accepted nine names responsible by the commission as proposals for appointments in 5 countries in advance with legislation in force for the board of the Independent Commission for Mining and Minerals, but only those quoted above have been nominated for the Kosovo Assembly. /Democracy. com/
