Blinken launches official meetings in Tirana arrives at US Embassy

Around 11:13 a.m., the plane that American Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled with touched Albanian soil. He landed at the “airport, Mother Teresa” in Rinas, where he was hosted by Foreign Minister Igli Hasani. From Rinas, the US secretary addressed the American Embassy in Tirana to continue with the meeting schedule.

Numerous police forces have been committed to the management of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit, which will remain in Tirana for 10 hours. He will also meet with President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
