Albania's Interior Minister, Taulant Balla, has said the investigation into claims that there were mistreatment by State Police officials against Kosovars who were detained on February 4th in Kukes and 46kg of tritol were found in the car.

He, through a post on the social network Facebook, has stated that there are no other claims that suspects from Kosovo have been kept for hours by police.

“As far as claims are made by any of the artists of the body involved in the facility of the operation, for abuse by the State Police, informing them that the AMP has started investigating in this regard. But the claim of extra hours keeping in their police does not stand, but the State Police have acted much faster than the standard verification deadline, precisely because it has taken into account the status of actors occurring at the scene”.

“who could not be left free until all verifications were made. Finally, regret remains and becomes even greater, when instead of understanding of the fact that this operation resulted in 203 tritol bars, misunderstandings and resentment against the blue uniforms of the Republic of Albania, Balla has said
