Iran announces the Strait of Hormuz Passing Ships Open

Iran's self-declared Persian Gulf Strait Authority has declared Hormuz Strait open to transition under certain conditions.
In light of the framework for ending the war, Iran will provide free passage to ships that present"requests in line with necessary demands", the body announced.
The procedures include handing in the requirements for transition at least 48 hours ago.
The organisation also said it would not charge any tariffs for 60 days, the length of the ceasefire specified in the US-Iran Agreement.
He warned that he would not consider the requirements presented under"through informal channels".
Otherwise, the Persian Gulf Strait Authority was created as a self - proclaimed body of overseer.
The US previously sanctioned this body, with Scott Bessent, Treasury Secretary, who called it"a joke", saying that US"warned"subjects against co-operating with the system. /Telegraphy/
