Food and Veterina Agency spokesman Lamir Thaci, at a news conference, has said the number of poisons at a local in the Malisheva municipality has gone to 100.
According to him from inspections conducted in the local area it has been noted that the overall technical, sanitation, hygiene has been at a poor level, and products have not been found that had support documentation to know their origin.
He said this is the second case that is taking place within a week, and according to him AUV will begin an action on the entire territory of Kosovo, where all gastronomy bars will be inspected.
The inspection team of AUV has also helped the prosecutor in the case to get all evidence to track all the evidence and connect all the facts necessary to know exactly what happened or what caused this poisoning. So far from the information we have from health mechanisms, there are about 100 people who have requested medical services, whether at the Malisheva Clinical Centre, at the regional hospital in Prizren and at KKUK”.
The second case happening within a week has been alarmed by the minister and executive director, who have issued orders that we begin an entire weightable action throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, where all gastronomial establishments, these cook and serve fast food, are subject to detailed control. Most of the poisonings happened in this category of locals. And we wish this would never happen again. The number of inspectors is limited”.
The overall technical, sanitation, hygienic status “was done by the inspection team assessment. The second is not behind the Sanitary Books to employees who worked in this bar, which by law is required. Some products that we call non-original have been found or have not had support documentation to know their origin”, he said.
While Kosovo police in the report released today have suggested that the owner of the club has been arrested and that the same has been submitted to maintenance. / EO
