For the Open Balkans initiative, Publicist Baton Haxhiu has said how he might be opposed by the current government in power and say it is Serbia's project, when Serbia's main economic partner has it.
Invited to Debat Plus, Haxhiu has said “how can we buy continuous goods from Serbia, and this way reject the Balkan Open”.
And for that, analyst Visar Ymer has said that even in the Berlin Process we are with Serbia, we are also in the open Balkans, with a country that does not recognise us.
Ymer, for the Open Balkans initiative, has said the Berlin process and this initiative if viewed in terms of economics, essentially don't change much.
According to Ymer, the idea of the Open Balkans is reinforcement of the Berlin process.
According to Ymer, Kosovo has thought that if it doesn't take part in the Balkan Open, this initiative will be reversed, because they have no place to go, but as he says it results in instability.
