Kosovo ready with its soldiers for the war in Ukraine: Waiting for green light from America

The Kosovo Defence Ministry has come up with a statement after Russia launched attacks on Ukraine.

From the Kosovo Defence Ministry, they say that if required by the United States, they will provide the KSF's operational capacities in possible operations.

“On the other hand, if requested by the US, as our vital partner and ally, for our commitment, we are willing to provide all the KSF's operational capabilities and capacities that they estimate may be contributing to possible operations. The Republic of Kosovo is strongly united with the position of the United States of America, the United Kingdom, their allies from NATO and the European Union”, said the report.

The Ministry of Defence, with maximum attention, are monitoring the critical security situation in Europe caused by the beginning of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, as well as implications for regional, continental and global security.

The Ministry of Defence, with our mechanisms, we constantly monitor, all regional and global phenomena and processes, as well as the goals and activities of hostile acts that endanger the security of our country from abroad.

As we have warned earlier, highly synchronized Russia with its ally, Serbia, continues intensively with the activities of the now-known hybrid war in our region, as were disinformive statements, just a few days ago by Russia's Foreign Affairs Minister.

This dangerous disinstallation, whose purpose is clearly read, aims to cause confusion within the up-to-date unity of Euro-Atlantic countries and nations, and to affect the general cohesion of world democratic citizenship that solidify with Ukraine and its people.

Therefore beloved citizens,

False news, fiction, and potential installations are elements that apply Russian and sponsor structures, in the current situation.

That's why we ask you not to fall victim to them, but to take into account only official information from the relevant state institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Republic of Kosovo, and its citizens in general, through its representatives have openly and firmly expressed support for the people of Ukraine, as well as for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Therefore, they have no reason to organise themselves in non-state structures to offer such solidarity and support, the tradition precisely known by Russian and Serbian circles for actions with mechanisms of notorious paramilitary structures and mercenaries now more known for monstrous crimes in the Balkans, whose victims are our own peace - loving and peace - loving people.

On the other hand, if required by the US, as our vital partner and ally, for our commitment, we are willing to offer all the operational capacity and capacities of the KSF that they estimate may be contributing to possible operations.

The Republic of Kosovo is strongly united with the position of the United States of America, the United Kingdom, their allies from NATO and the European Union.

The Republic of Kosovo and its citizens indiscriminately have witnessed and testified strongly in continuation, full and natural Euro-Atlantic orientation, so we also ask NATO political and military decision-makers to proceed with the invitation to our NATO membership.

In view of the threats and risks that seriously affect the security environment, peace, stability and democracy of the Western Balkan region, from Russia's destructive and aggressive policies and its allies, is the time for the United States to approve our long-standing application for the establishment of the American Military Permanent Base in Kosovo.

For the same reason, we also appreciate that it is time for our permanent NATO membership bid to be addressed with maximum seriousness and concrete positive decision making.

This action will also be an added value, along with the values you bear NATO, and corresponds to our main national goal, to an eternal alliance with the US.

This is the time for all responsible nations to stand firm together on the right side of history.
