Mejaj after he left KSF for extinguishing fires in Albania: Our soldiers are real heroes

Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has been staying in Albania today in the Kukes area, where he has been following closely the KSF troops' commitment to extinguishing fire in the area. “Today to take a close look at the development of the operation in the extinguishing of St. Murray Mountain, I visited members of the KSF contingent [...]
I visited KSF's contingent members and members of the fire check from the Emergency Management Agency. The pain of the damage caused by the fire was dominated by the feeling of pride for our military -- true heroes who courageously, the team spirit and self-reproaching service honor our symbol, the Nation and the Homeland”, wrote Mehaj on Facebook.
Minister Mehej has written that Albanian forces are continuing the battle with flames to the end.
“As a single body along with our Albanian brothers and sisters are continuing the battle with flames to the end. Together stronger, on difficult days with our brothers and sisters”, the minister said.
Fires over the Calimash tunnel on Monday night took frightening proportions assisted by the wind so that the situation would almost get out of hand.
The Albanian Armed Forces' co-operation with Kosovo's forces prompted fire on the tunnel to be brought under control and not to jeopardise residences or block the tunnel.
