It is strange that even after three days there is no official report on the cause of poisoning or official guidance for citizens on how to act. Quick measures are needed: 1. Interdisciplinary health teams must be formed to treat the affected with urgency. 2. It's urgent that a task force should be set up to find the cause of poisoning”, he wrote Hoti on Facebook.
Hoti has also wished quick healing to all citizens affected by poisoning.
Since Saturday, over 1500 citizens from the Decani municipality have sought health care at the Family Medicine Centre
The first suspicions are that citizens have been poisoned by drinking water.
In this regard today, National Public Health Institute Director Naser Ramadani has been declared.
Ramadan at a media conference said that until now laboratory tests do not indicate that citizens may be water poisoning.
He has said that actually IKSHPK is monitoring other possible tracks.
