Haxhiu: Health professionals get deserved salaries, can't live with additions

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Bekim Haxhiu has made public his proposals, which he has given under the amendments to the completion of the 2020 budget Law.

In an interview for Online Economics, Haxhiu has said that in these proposals include raising salaries for health professionals, policemen and other categories that are facing the Devid-19 pandemic.

“We have seen pay increases for health professionals based on the Law of Salaries, so the calculation is based on the Law of Salaries which has been approved last mandate but has been overturned by the Constitutional Court and the classification that occurred in that law, even now I have made it an amendment, making it an improvement for the wages of the faculty nurses, who have not been treated properly in the wage law”, Haxhiu said.

And for complaints of several categories, MP The PDK calls them political. It says that Infermia and Physiotherapy are not one, that they distinguish as professions, that they differ from the task and description of work.

Among other things, Haxhiu has appealed to health professionals to be unique in the matter. Meanwhile, he says that white - skinned people cannot live with relief supplements but have to receive wages as they deserve for their work.
