700m euros is needed for economic recovery, 200 million euros in income

The Ministry of Finance and Transfers has begun preparing the plan for the Economic Recovery Pack. A commission is also meant to be formed on this issue.

This commission is designed to have partnerships with associations, the economic Odat, as well as the academic world.

Deputy Minister of Finance and Trades Agim Krasniqi said a co-ordination is needed for the economic recovery package to be functional and in the direction of businesses.

The first <x0ides for the Economic Recovery Pack are prepared by the Ministry of Finance, which will include several ministers on the line, representatives of the Odas and associations and the academic world are also invited. These ideas that the MF has to put in my package”.

“We are preparing the commission, but we don't have anything concrete. In the sense of preparation yes, the minister has ideas, but they should discuss with partners that this package has been functional to respond to businesses with the possibilities Kosovo” has, Krasniqi has said.

Furthermore, Krasniqi stated that change of legal base for public finance management is needed for the Government to receive credit and valuable letters.

He said up to 200m euros less of the revenues are expected, until he said that” management” should be prepared that totals 700m euros for economic recovery.

We can expect about 200m euros less in the revenues, but when the package is prepared it will be seen how many tools the Government should ask for from credit and other resources, such as the letters worth”.

“They require that even some adjustments be made on the legal basis, primarily the law on public finance management to allow the Government of Kosovo to break the rule that is for the budget deficit for banking balance and the part with credit. These elements have to coordinate with the Parliament. But by that time, it does not prevent Government from taking steps and preparing the” plan.

“Crahas emergency package that needs to cover about 189 million measures, losses of about 200 million, must be prepared part of the 400 million injection. In total 700 million must be the figure for economic recovery”, Krasniqi told EO.

Krasniqi argued that Pako has a priority for production and areas that have capacity, including agriculture.

While stressing that the main focus will be changing trade and payment balance.

Financial capacity has been reduced, according to Krasniqi, and will affect the implementation of Emergency Pack.

Besides preparing an economic structure, which the economy used to give rise to production, areas where we have capacity like IT, or even the agriculture sector. The focus should be on industrial and other plants that I can afford to be the most economical that has been prepared for a change in the balance of payments and trade by using these measures”, he said.
