Democratic Party of Kosovo spokesman Avni Bytyci has criticised the ombudsman, Hilmi Jashari, for showing indifference over the successive violations of the constitution this government has committed. Bytyci stressed that defending these rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution is the direct responsibility of the ombudsman.
According to Bytyci “On the one hand ombudsman, Jashar sends to the constitutional court an issue such as the salary law, still leaving today without salaries deserving doctors” and, on the other hand, “just when the government openly manifests authoritarian tendencies by violating the constitution. ”
He has criticised Jashar, saying that by the ombudsman, he has become a party lawyer and would be wise to leave this country and enter <x0->painally into Vetevendosje and leave the position of someone more responsible to the constitution, rather than its party and leader, fellow Kurti<1>.
Bytyci's full facebook mailing is like below:
The banned Kosovo government has just violated Kosovo's Constitution for the last time, with an arbitrary decision that has completely ignored the Constitutional Court's bias. This is the government's next several serious violation of Kurti's departure, and the ombudsman Hilmi Jashar has taken no action and has made no statement about these violations of constitutional order and violations of the fundamental freedoms of citizens.
Yasar, in his duty as ombudsman, is tasked with protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals from the illegal or irregular actions of public authorities.” Where there are more serious violations than those the government has committed against the constitutional rights of Kosovo citizens.
On the one hand, the ombudsman, Jashari, sends to the constitutional court a case such as the salary law, still leaving today without salaries deserving of doctors, nurses of all employees on the front line. On the other hand, it stands at ease when the government openly manifests authoritarian tendencies by violating the constitution.
Apparently, the current ombudsman has replaced the people with the party, and has decided to join the Vetvendosje Movement's workshop by neglecting his sacred duty in protecting citizens' rights and freedoms. Perhaps it would be more honorable for the current ombudsman to be openly involved in Vetevendosje and to leave the position of someone most responsible with the Constitution, not the party and its leader, Comrade Kurti.
