Albanian resident in Greece, J. R, 46, and Bulgarian D.D., 31, have been placed under police investigation, while the amount of 25 thousand euros has been seized by police. They were leaving Albanian territory with their vehicle towards Greece when the second party was detained for police control. There the undeclared amount of money was found.

Following detailed checks, aimed at preventing cross-border crime, border police services at the P.K. K Kapshtica, at the beginning of the Republic of Albania, selected for control in the second line, citizen J. R., 46, from Memalij, resident in Greece and Bulgarian national D. D., 31, who traveled by vehicle.
During the search exercised by Border Police services, in collaboration with customs services, a total of 250,000 euros were found hidden in the body that had not been declared before the authorities.
Actions in this case are carried out by economic crime section specialists in DVP Korca, who have begun criminal proceedings against these citizens.
