Victims' family does not let Mitrovica officials put flowers on death plates

On the 20th anniversary of the massacre, victims' families have not allowed municipal officials to place flower wreaths near the memorial plaque, KTV reports.

Family members have said they are indignant and disappointed at how their loved ones are being remembered on the 20th anniversary of their death.

Moreover, according to them, the Mitrovica municipality failed to fulfill its promise to build an obisk in a sign of commemoration for them.

However, flowers on the memorial plaque managed to place Bajram Qerkeyni, chairman of the Association of Missing Persons.
