Vuciq for Reuters: Failure to deal with Kosovo, risk of region erupting

Each lost day can create conditions that can throw the region into the fire. So said Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq in an interview for Reuters, I follow Periscope.

“Even Western countries supporting Pristina know this”, Vuciq was quoted by Reutrers.

Vuciq has said Serbia has many red lines” but does not often mention them, as he says, in order not to destroy the possibilities for talks.

I wouldn't want to talk about red lines, because negotiations are becoming impossible if we talk like that. We have much to do, and we are not even close to an agreement with Pristina. Right now, there's nothing new...

Vuciq says he would not want to destroy the possibilities for talks.

Vuciq, in an interview for Reuters, says he expects Germany and France to clarify their presence in the Balkans in the future”.

Vuciq has said Serbia's European future depends on talks with Pristina and on that we will be willing to reach any agreement one day”.

Otherwise, no one will allow us to enter the EU. The Serbian people must know that. We have to be fair with our people”, he said.. /Periscopi
