Lebet said it is not right for Switzerland to pay the water supply in Kosovo as Kosovo spends money on even the common veterans.
And Minister Paul Lekaj reacted to this statement, saying that if it were in his hands, he would remove such an ambassador.
Meanwhile, Veton Surroi has said that Prime Minister Lekaj's statements influence Kosovo-Switzer relations, and for that, has demanded that Kosovo Foreign Minister Pacolli apologise to the Swiss ambassador.
Surroi's full response:
Kosovo's foreign minister should apologise to the Swiss ambassador to Kosovo, on behalf of the citizens of the country and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. The declaration of a government minister for the departure of the ambassador is against the particular relations the Republic of Kosovo has with the Swiss Confederate and the respect for the gratitude Kosovo citizens have towards this country.
Ambassador Jean Humbert Lebet's statement outlined the simple formula of this country's bitter reality: Swiss taxpayers have to pay a water supply in Kosovo because Kosovo taxpayers' money is looted and stolen.
In the tradition of this country and the people, the words of a friend are not answered by showing him the door to the exit, but by inviting him to talk quietly in front of the chimney.
