The president commemorates Izbika: Kosovo will not forget Serbia's tragedies of crimes

On the 20th anniversary of the Izbica massacre, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has talked about the excellent relations that Kosovo has been guarding with the United States of America, saying that the genocide that Serbia has committed in the recent Kosovo war will never be forgotten, crimes that someone in the world is claiming to forget.

Thaci has said that these days of anniversary he has seen mass graveyards but also tears of rebirth and resistance.

“Today on the 20th anniversary of the crime of Serbia's military, police and paramilitary forces remember the Izbica massacre, where 147 innocent civilians were killed, only because they were Albanians, we remember all the martyrs and victims of Serbia's state terror in 98-99 but even earlier. At the time, unarmed people were killed in hearth and their land around Kosovo were in their quest for survival, freedom and liberation. Kosovo will not forget the tragedies and crimes the state of Serbia committed. Just a few days ago, we were in the Great and Little Krusha, where there would be mass graves and tears of resistance but tears of rebirth”, declared the country first.

The president has also cited genocide against Kosovars and their expulsion from the country.
