Civil society has invited citizens to a 12 o'clock protest before the Pristina Foundation Court to challenge this institution's decision on the person who killed Florijeta Rugovaj and Lindita Abdullah to death.
“Civil Society organises peaceful protest to reject the unjust ruling of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, which pronounced minimal condemnation on the man who took his life in communications to two Kosovo citizens, Florijeta Rugovaj and Lindita Abdullahu. That is not all, this court has decided that the same will be judged in freedom”, the statement said.
According to organisers, the situation adds to the fact that the perpetrators of this work are recivilists and that Kosovo police are aware that this person only days before the accident was caused, has also been detained for violations of the communications rules, while according to them the car with which the accident has been unregistered.
The family's pain has multiplied since the man who claimed the lives of their families will soon wander into freedom, without having the opportunity to reflect on the damage he has done, and from such people all other citizens will be endangered”, the announcement follows.
Civil society says that with such low sentences, irresponsible drivers do not have to fear causing another victim, leaving other fatherless children, and causing wounds that will never end in our families.
Our <x0] lives are worth more than that, so this protest will bear the name of two young people who were unjustly deprived of life, but the voice will be raised for any other victim who today no longer lives by the carelessness of irresponsible”, the report says.
The requirements that will be revealed in this protest are reviewing the decision made by Pristina Constitutional Court, establishing convictions for those who do not respect communications rules, and taking cases of citizen damage to communications more seriously
