While the mayors of two other municipalities -- Ferizaj and Mitrovica -- result in having partially fulfilled their pledges made during the 2017 election campaign, Koha Ditore writes today.
These results were released in the latest report that the organisation “Democracy Plus”, titled <x2, released on Monday. > Fulfilling the electoral pledges of the mayors for good governance”, stating that during the election campaign for 2017 municipal elections, this organisation has asked the candidates for the seven municipalities to formally pledge to adhere to some basic principles of good governance if elected to lead the municipality.
Roberta Osmani, senior researcher at “Democracy Plus”, has presented the report stressing that candidates have signed six pledges, promising to meet them if they become future mayors of municipalities where they are running, whose purpose is to install an open, transparent and accounting municipal government for citizens and interest groups.
