Age of reconciliation [ang. Age of agreement is the age under which a minor is considered legally uncompetent to decide whether to have sex with anyone.
For the flow, writes Periscope, an adult who engages in sex with a minor under the allowed age cannot even claim that their act was consensual and may be described as rape. The person under the age mentioned is taken as a victim, and their sexual partner is taken as a criminal unless the latter is a minor.
The age of reconciliation differs widely from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, though most of them place it between the ages of 14 and 18.
In Europe, age is also between 14 and 18. In Kosovo, the age of reconciliation is 16, with Article 228 of the Penal Code that the term “Miratim” takes as voluntary reconciliation of a person who has reached the age of 16 to be involved in a sexual act, and with Article 230 saying that 1. Anyone involved in a sexual act without approval may be sentenced to prison for between 2 and 10 years.

In Albania, despite numerous cases of minor rape, the consensual age is only 14.
But the same is true in Germany and many other EU countries. /Periscope
