“We are grateful for Italy's contribution to KFOR and for the overall efforts to strengthen peace in Kosovo”, President Thaci has indicated.
Speaking to KFOR and the Italian commanders of the peacekeeping force, President Thaci has indicated that “I have had excellent co-operation with Major General D Addario and welcome the opportunity to continue this co-operation with Major General Rizi”.
Minister Guerini is happy that Italy has contributed to the strengthening of peace in Kosovo and throughout the Balkan region.
President Thaci also expressed satisfaction that the KSF, in co-operation with NATO, has become a professional, multiethnic force that has opened the perspective of Kosovo's membership in NATO in the near future, the media communiqué said.
