Survey shakes Albanians: 64% of citizens say Kosovo is nation

Since Kosovo's February 17th 2008 declaration of independence here, a specific theme has never been missed in our public sphere: should we refer to Kosovo as a nation or only as a state? Recently, because of the great successes of the Kosovo National football, the category of boys has been reactivated if we should call Kosovo national, as foreigners or representatives call us.
But why representative? That is because a large part of our opinion still believes that Kosovo must be re-resolved as a state in order to join Albania. So this part of Albanians that calls the national representative simply shares the strange belief that the Albanian national is Albania while the state representative was Kosovo.
Periscope did a survey on her Facebook page last night, asking citizens what the national of Kosovo should be called. The first alternative was “comer, like any other” and the second was “representative, we're a nation”.
This survey found that 64 percent of Kosovo citizens already had the conviction that Kosovo was a nation, and its national football team, not representatives. Meanwhile, only 36 percent thought that Kosovo was representative.
One option had more than 2700 votes, while the other was over 1500.
