Mitrovica Basic Prosecutor-in-chief Fry Syla has ordered yesterday the Regional Investigation Unit for Economic Crime and Corruption Investigation in South Mitrovica to initiate investigations due to the publication of the footage at the Indexline portal, published on October 03th, 2019, in which the recordings are allegedly heard by Salih Tahiri negotiating construction permits in Vushtrri and taking money as a bribe.
The media reported a few hours ago that the same guy escaped, and that the police couldn't find him to interview him.
After publishing the news that Salih Tahiri, brother of Vushtrri chairman Dzafer Tahiri, has not been found yesterday by police in his apartment, following the launch of investigations by the Mitrovica Prosecutor over alleged bribery, has reacted to his lawyer, Ahmeti Tahiri.
He has said moments ago that Salih Tahiri has neither left nor fled Kosovo, and that he will appear in the police on Monday.
