Citizens protesting against hydropower stations in Shtrpca end up in hospital, police used tear gas (Video)

Residents have said five months of children have been affected by tear gas and are currently being treated at the hospital centre in Shtrpce.
Another part of Serbian and Albanian residents are being dealt with because of injuries they have received while defending properties near the river where the plant will be built.
According to the first data on over 30 residents, they have been sent to the Medical Centre because of the violence police have exercised on them.
Agron Rushit of this part of Kosovo has spoken about the situation in this part.
The half of the protesters have come to the ambulance, the situation is catastrophic, the hint has more 30 people, the five-week-old kids have been throwing tear gas”, Rushiti told inFokus newspaper.
When he was talking about Gazeta inFokus, he was being treated in the ambulance because of deteriorating health conditions.
According to residents, police have intervened as they have refused to withdraw from the area where the plant will be built.
