Tomorrow comes the verdict against Sali McCajt, the Grabovci man at the Court of Appeals

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo had filed charges against former Court of Appeals Chairman Sali Mekaj and three other defendants Vlora Gorani, Mentor Seferaj and Ali Seferaj.

According to the indictment, defendant Salih Mcaj has used his official duty and authority in the quality of the person, with the aim of benefiting himself and others.

Mekaj has promised defendant Vlora Gorani that he will commit himself to the appointment of court reviews on two occasions, as well as the judicial re-cillation of criminal acts, from heavier criminal acts to easier ones so that two defendants in those cases can be released from custody.

The Isander in her series “The File of Chiefs” wrote how McAfflict was appointed to the head of the Appeals Court with the help of Xhevat Grabovci, cousin of Adem Grabovci, who had mediated that McCaj be elected president of the largest Court in Kosovo.
