I'd like to apologize to Albanians indiscriminately, but also to international partners for the latest showing of trying to block reform in justice. Today's appearance was given by the opposition, but the bill is unfortunately received by all of Albania, which is closer than ever to the opening of negotiations for the EU, and deserves neither mud nor smoke nor despair of this opposition feared by reform in justice. I did what I could, and I honestly don't know how much I can do to open up dialogue with the opposition regarding the election of the interim prosecutor. Neither did the EU requirements enough to bring the opposition to the dialogue table on this issue, the chief prosecutor's election with only our votes was a completely legitimate election, confirmed by the US-backed international justice mission, but it was not the desired choice by us. I wanted a understanding choice through dialogue with the opposition”, Prime Minister Edi Rama said.
