Deputy Paunovic is from Peja. She knows well that on March 27, 1999, Serbian police expelled almost the entire Albanian population from Peja, where citizens were forced to flee to pedestrian columns towards Montenegro, while buses were deported to Albania”, she wrote on the X platform.
Also, she is aware of the crimes committed in the villages of Sic, Pavlan, Zahaq and Lubeniq, where civilians were killed and their troops burned”, reports Kosovas Preiss, broadcast Periscope.
Despite that, Paunovic, according to Kanove, publicly presents ethnic cleansing as a desirable political solution and expresses regret that, according to her, it was not implemented in 1998.
