Persecuted is Paunovic's reaction to the scandalous statement: You're from Peja, you know how many Albanians were killed and burned there

The Founder of the Humanitarian Law Fund, Natasa Ka persecuted, has said that Serbian Minister of Local Power Snezana Paunovic's declaration of ethnic Albanian cleansing is not a stance of this latter for the past, but a message that this ideology has not yet been forgotten.

Furthermore, she has reminded Serbian government member that she personally is from Peja and, being so, is aware that in this city, Slobodan Milosevic's forces have committed many crimes against Albanians.

Deputy Paunovic is from Peja. She knows well that on March 27, 1999, Serbian police expelled almost the entire Albanian population from Peja, where citizens were forced to flee to pedestrian columns towards Montenegro, while buses were deported to Albania”, she wrote on the X platform.

Also, she is aware of the crimes committed in the villages of Sic, Pavlan, Zahaq and Lubeniq, where civilians were killed and their troops burned”, reports Kosovas Preiss, broadcast Periscope.

Despite that, Paunovic, according to Kanove, publicly presents ethnic cleansing as a desirable political solution and expresses regret that, according to her, it was not implemented in 1998.

Its “s are not viewed as a reflection of the past, but as a message that this ideology is not abandoned”, the founder of the Fund for Humanitarian Law has written. /Periscope
