The British Foreign Ministry condemns Paunovic's statements for “ethnic cleansing”: Unacceptable, Promoting Pressure

The British Foreign Ministry has condemned the statements of Minister Snezana Paunovic for “ethnic cleansing of Kosovo”.

Such statements reportedly only reopen old divisions in the region.

“We condemn Serbian Minister Snezana Paunovic's statements, including references to Kosovo's ethnic cleansing. They are totally disgusting and have no place in today's society. At a time when countries throughout the Western Balkans are focused on building a peaceful, stable and multiethnic future, such remarks aim to reopen old divisions and fuel tensions. The responsible political leaders must reject such a clear language and unequivocally”, a spokeswoman for the Great Britain Foreign Ministry has said.

At the end of the response, it is said they are also aware of the denial Serbian President Vuci has made to her statements. /Periscope/
