(an hour ago)LDK Organising Secretary Wisar Azemi has confirmed that the LDK will hold a meeting following recent developments with the handover of signatures for calling the party's extraordinary Assembly for the dismissal of current President Lumir Abdixhiku.
“Po, we have a” meeting, he briefly told EO, broadcast Periscope.
No further details regarding the appointment agenda or deadlines have been provided for completion of the verification process.
Otherwise, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has said yesterday through a video, that following the verification of signatures seeking to hold the Municipal Assembly, the LDK Assembly has decided to be held.
“I have authorized the secretary general to immediately initiate procedures to keep this Assembly, after verifying signatures, the date will be set and the location of the country's”, he said.
Abdixhiku said that because of these developments, they cannot be further committed to forming institutions.
