The specialist goes on to: We have allowed visits of detainees to Kosovo for humanitarian reasons, Thaci was 4 times

The Special Court has published a video on the social X network to show the legal framework of this court that “allows the detainees to request a visit to Kosovo for convincing humanitarian reasons”.
Special Court spokeswoman Angela Grieep says in video that Hashim Thaci's “case, for example, four such visits have been held.
She said the legal framework for this has been adopted by judges “based on international human rights rights rights rights, including Article 5 of the European Convention for Human Rights and the United Nations Monetary Standard Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners”.
“So far, judges of Specialised Chambers have ordered 14 such visits to Kosovo, which have been managed by the tribunal, for example, for a detainee to visit a sick relative or pay tribute and spend time with close relatives after the death of a relative, she said. /Periscope/
