False messages returned to Kosovo, police appeal for caution

Kosovo police have notified citizens of a new shadowy SMS being circulated, which is being faked on behalf of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the police report on Facebook, the message claims citizens have unpaid traffic fines and requires them to click on suspicious links.
Authorities stress that this message is not official and constitutes fraud attempts.

Don't click on suspicious links.
Do not provide personal or bank information.
Don't open pages asking for payment through SMS.
If you accept such messages:
Clear it out immediately.
Report it to the relevant authorities.
Contact the bank if you've shared the data.
