Seven dead of the Chicago shooting, Trump calling for military intervention

A series of shootings in Chicago has left at least seven people dead and 38 injured since Friday evening, according to police. US President Donald Trump later reiterated his call for military intervention in the third largest city in the United States.
Why don't you ask Governor Pritzker for help? I can make Chicago a safe city within a MUSI. Within a year he would be one of the safest in the world!! ” wrote Trump on the Social Truth on Sunday.
The office of the Governor of Illinois JB Pritzker did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Prisker, considered a possible presidential Democrat candidate for 2028, has repeatedly rejected Trump's calls for military intervention. /Periscope
