(3 hours ago)The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, the Department for Criminal Crimes, has filed charges against Mr. D., citizens of the Republic of Albania, who are under the measure of detention, due to well-founded suspicion that he committed criminal work “Blerja, ownership, distribution and unauthorised sale of narcotics, psychotrophope and analogies<62> from Article 267, paragraph 2 of the Kosovo Republic Penal Code (KPRK).
According to the indictment, on October 30, 2025, at the Vermica Border Cross Point, the defendant has been able to transport substances declared by law as narcotics without authorization. The same one had rented a vehicle in Tirana and was headed towards the Republic of Kosovo.
During its entry into the Republic of Kosovo, the defendant has been detained for control by competent authorities at the Border Cross in Vermica. During vehicle control, under the driver's seat a plastic bag of suspected cocaine substance, with a total weight of 575.71 grams, has been found, while a small amount of the alleged narcotic substance of marijuana 0.35 grams has been found during the physical control of the defendant.
The prosecutor of the case, in the case of the establishment of the indictment, has proposed to the court that, after maintaining judicial examination, management and assessment of evidence, the defendant be found guilty of the criminal act for which he is accused and be convicted by law. /Periscope/
