Appel hearing for Andrew Nica ends, decision is expected

There has been an end to the hearing at the Court of Appeals on Andrew Nica, who in February of this year was sentenced by the Constitutional Court to 18 years in prison for killing his girlfriend, the Armenian citizen Maria Clara Urdangaray.
The case is already under consideration in the second degree of the judiciary, while the following days the Appeal decision is expected to be made.
Meanwhile, Nica's defence, lawyer Tome Gashi, has indicated that he has handed over criminal gossip to the owner of the facility and his son, linked to the hotel where the event happened, claiming the responsibility does not lie with his client.
According to Gashi, the object where the case occurred has operated without permission as a hotel and was originally registered as a residential object.
