Vetevendosje's proposal for avoidance of the procedural deadline for revising the 2026 Budget Law has failed. The motion received 57 votes for, 48 opposed. There was debate between power and opposition parties ahead of the vote. Power and government said the revision envisions the support package for citizens. The opposition rejected hasty procedures.
