Cerwer order before The Hague's act: Kosovo deserves assessment of how it handled charges, unjust decision will burden court

The Hague judges' panel has already scheduled the morning of 16 September this year to announce Rexhep Selimi's first-degree decision by four former KLA leaders, Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi. More than four burden charges of the Specialised War Crimes Prosecutor's Office, claims that the defence has opposed even with witnesses of Wesley Clark and James Rubin.
The decision that The Hague will make on the eve of autumn will determine the winter that will come to Kosovo, since all four figures in The Hague -- except in the KLA -- have shares in Kosovo's citizenship. Hashim Thaci has been a key figure since Rambouillet in negotiations resulting from NATO bombings, has declared Kosovo's independence and has been an active part of politics as president until 2021, when the indictment arose. Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi have been chairman of the Assembly and Rexhep Selimi deputy of the Kosovo Assembly.
As far as The Hague's decision in Kosovo may be prompted, American Professor Daniel Cerer in an interview for Gazeta Express orders that no actions be taken that undermine the state of Kosovo, calling for peaceful response and that did not include attacks on the Serb community.
“I hope that the reaction to the act of prejudice in Kosovo will in no way harm the state. That means the response must be peaceful and not include attacks on the Serb community. The state of Kosovo deserves recognition, not criticism, of the way it has so far addressed those charges. Serbia has been hiding its accused persons for years. Kosovo indictees resigned and went to The Hague. For this they deserve recognition, not punishment or contempt.”, Serwer has declared.
Daniel Serwer adds that regardless of what the Special Court's decision will be, his conviction that Kosovo's independence is the only solution will not change.
I think that any punishment will primarily reflect on those who are punished, whether the sentence is just or not. If he is not right, he will burden the court himself. Decisions will not change my belief that Kosovo's independence is the only solution. ”, Serwer said about Express.
Serwer points out that Serbia has lost Kosovo because of its actions that have been human rights violations.
Johns Hopkins University professor finally recalls the fact that Serbia for years has hidden the accused, until it adds that Kosovo's indictees resigned and went to The Hague. According to him, Thaci and others deserve appreciation for such a thing, not contempt.
