The commander of the Year's Fireship Unit, Heem Jakupi, announced that teams are fully engaged in the field.

He stressed that the main focus of firefighters is on protecting life, property and agricultural land.

Jakupi urged citizens to show maximum care and co-operate with authorities.
"Let citizens avoid unnecessary movement in the vicinity of the fire zone, not light fires in open environments, and respect authorities' instructions", he appealed.
