According to a report by this prosecutor, to the agreement on this action came after receiving information and a video-incision, on which there are doubts about air pollution through smoke that is being caused by the chimney in the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), in the Obilic Community.
Regarding this case, the State Prosecutor has authorised the Kosovo Police to take all necessary investigative actions in order to verify and secure relevant evidence.
The case is being handled in the direction of the criminal act -- Nodocy, degradation or destruction of the environment -- according to Article 338 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina remains committed to protecting the environment and guarantees that he will take all legal actions needed for the complete whiteening of this matter”, the report said.
